      Pros

      Good location in downtown San Jose, some very good people at individual contributor level. Flexible work schedules and flexibility to work from home.

      Cons

      Upper management in IT are unapproachable and all about politics, lots of brown-nosers. Jobs seem to be shifting overseas. Lack of formal, documented processes around employee performance evaluations and salary/promotion/bonus decisions. If company is doing great, employees are not rewarded. But when company is not doing so good, salaries are frozen, employees are laid off, and bonuses are cut.

      Pros

      I've worked at Adobe going on 6 years and its been a wonderful experience. I work with very intelligent & forward thinking individuals. As an admin I'm paid hourly so overtime is a definite plus. We have 28 days of vacation & receive a sabbatical every 5 years.

      Cons

      We lost profit sharing a few years back & quarterly bonuses. Now its only up to the discretion of your manager whether or not you get bonuses.
