      Pros

      -Middle management is genuine -Many employees are "artist type" and very creative/imaginative -Standard perks you would expect from a tech firm -Amazing work culture preached by corporate overlords (sometimes its even a reality!)

      Cons

      -Upper management is completely disconnected from the workers and users -Many employees are "artist type" and can be flaky/non-confrontational -You will be underpaid by at least 15% compared to competitors after year 1, you will be underpaid by at least 25% after year 4 -You will be laid off as soon as it is inconvenient for the firm, despite their guarantees to the contrary

      As far as compensation and salaries, they treat you as full-time employees

      Cons

      The experience really depends on your mentor. I did not have much exposure to their product, my mentor treated me as a paper generation machine.

      Good WLB, Firefly team is really good, Research is great

      Cons

      I am contradicting myself but in recent time the WLB has taken a hit due to the GenAI pace of development. But still better than other places imo
