      Lonley long days

      Pros

      Insurance rates are decent. Only reason I stay there.

      Cons

      Most centers are understaffed. Its unsafe to think a stupid buzzer door is going to protect you. Work all day alone for days on end. Florida stores are open till 7 and we are trending toward being open most holidays. Force you to sell horrible prepaid cards. Nearly impossible to bonus.

      Thank you for your feedback. Staffing levels vary by location. The number of coworkers will be based on the average number of customers assisted at each individual center. No two locations are identical, so we encourage anyone considering a career at Advance America to ask during the interview process about the average customer traffic and number of coworkers they should expect.

      Pros

      The customers are great. It is really quite wonderful to be able to help them with their financial needs. The hours are pretty good. The pay is competitive. It has become better diversified with the offering of more services and products. During the 10+ years I have been here in Fl. I have seen the company evolve into a much better and stronger company and believe it will continue to do so.

      Cons

      You work alone a lot but that is not so bad. It is hard at times to get bonuses and then only the full time employees are eligible for most of them.
