Advance Auto Parts Work Review

Pros

You get to help people daily, learn about cars while gaining retail+ light mechanical work experience.

Cons

Limited full time positions, high turnover, customers often are upset/angry or are misled to believe that all Advance employees have the knowledge of experienced mechanic, "free" services like OBD testing and battery installation can become stressful when store is busy and only 2 employees are working.

if you want an easy part time job, the discount it nice

Cons

automotive knowledge helps make your job easier automotive knowledge but they will hire if they don't hav, stores are understaffed.

There are no pros with this pos company

Cons

Poor management. All of them both upper and lower. They treat some employee great while others poorly. If I could sue for all the crap 8 went through i would do it in an heartbeat.
