Pros

Days pass fast, treated well if you're really good at your job.

Cons

Low pay, little room for advancement, excessive "cross-training" means most productive employees are expected to work harder to make up for weaker/less motivated staff. There is absolutely no down time.

Pros

Opportunity for a bonus. I was able to take advantage of the bonus on a consistent basis and help develop a strong and HONEST sales culture within my store.

Cons

Bonus depends on the success of overall store performance. The store must meet/exceed the corresponding sales targets for the channel. Performance is based on two channels; upfront/walk-in sales (Do-It-Yourself; DIY) for Retail Part Pros/Parts Pros or Commercial sales (Do-It-For-Me; DIFM). If you are in a struggling store (per IGNITE; sales tracking initiative), you will have a hard time making a good bonus.
