Pros

Good benefits. Store Managers were amazingly dedicated and hard working.

Cons

Poor leadership. This company is way behind the competitors in every category and yet believes it is out front. The amount of money spent on Commercial Programs resulted in a paltry sales number that could have been achieved for significantly less. The Corporate staff was incredibly large and growing daily which means that they each had to justify their existence. This created a workload for the stores that is not possible to complete. Most new programs were only followed until the "newest" next program was rolled out. Nowhere in this company does anyone have the guts to question any of these programs and the impact on the stores. Regional Management cannot think outisde the box. If a directive came down saying the Earth was flat, we threw out the globes. Store systems are circa 1990's. Several hours daily were spent fixing issues with it or waiting for someone at the Call Center in India to respond to your issue.

Pros

-Getting a paycheck -Meeting new people is the best part of the job. In addition to meeting people you are provided with videos and online assessments to help you understand how vehicles work which helps people that are new to the industry.

Cons

-EXTREMELY HIGH EMPLOYEE TURNOVER SO BE PREPARED TO WORK AN EXTRA SHIFT WHEN SOMEONE CALLS OUT OR QUITS BECAUSE MOST OF THE TIME NO ONE WANTS TO COME IN AND HELP. -No work life balance at all for the GM -Low starting pay for your store reps and drivers so you pretty much need to hire every straggler that walks in to keep the circus going.(QUANTITY NOT QUALITY) -Most of the employees are there until a higher paying job calls them. -The company puts share holders above all -No clear career path( some employees have been there over 10 years and still make less than $13/HR) -The company does not provide enough hours to get things done, you will be asked as a GM to stay and work for free since you are salary and only get paid for the 50 hours you work. In addition if you only work 49 hours you will be scolded but if you work 80 hours in a week you don’t even get a thank you.

Pros

Will learn a great deal about what it feels like for a company to not care about you as an individual and all the extra time you have to give to complete your job.

Cons

Eliminated the entire Accounting department in Roanoke with total disregard to other parts of the business that rely on the work those individuals did. They will do it again when they finish building their team in India.
