      Pros

      Great team members, learning a lot about automotive parts, and a 20 percent discount.

      Cons

      Hard to move up in the company with limited positions available. Working schedule for Retail parts pro sucks you have to close every day you work. The pay for what they want you to do in this position is not worth it.

      Pros

      you can manage a failing corperate co and it goes bankrupt and become a general manager at any advance parts store and have no automovive knowledge of automobiles at all

      Cons

      .20 cents a year raise if you have done well. cdl. is running off the best help and now service is the best part of advance auto parts because you dont have knowledgable people any more but the stores look nice othe inside

      Pros

      I have learned a lot about auto parts, car problems and how to correct them. I also enjoy meeting people and helping them solve mechanical problems. The best part is when I have so many deliveries that I am out of the store all day. I cover a forty mile radius.

      Cons

      It often seems that corporate management is totally out of touch with our small-store, rural demographic. Many times the software is changed, and our store is made aware by e-mail the same day. These changes are not always passed on the the help until we run up against the new system and wonder what the heck happened.
