Disconnect between company leaders and district management down.
We are all given goals to achive within our stores but not given the tools to reasonably achieve those goals ie we need to sell "x" amount/day average to sum up to "xx,xxx" amount/month, but our store is not stocked with the correct parts to service our market. Ive tried working with corporate to reset my inventory to meet my local needs. But instead of giving me the items that ive asked for through their own market research program built into our POS systems (lost sales) about 60% of the new products they supplied me with were transmission filters (which sales of this item make up less than 1% of my expected financial targets).
Extremely poor starting wages considering the skills involved. To be competitive with other similar businesses, I need people with good automotive repair skills, a skill that is worth a lot more than my average allowed starting pay of $8/hr. Not to mention I am expected to keep bilingual employees staffed.
