      Very demoralizing place to work.

      Pros

      After giving all a person can give. After almost losing relationship with family. There are no PROS to working for this company. Retail is not easy. This company is the " armpit of retail".

      Cons

      Excessive work loads for employees due to inability to actually schedule right amount of staff for needed times of day. No ability to have a family life. No sequential days off. Work minimum of 50 hours for 40 hours pay. Corporate does the scheduling per previous years sales. Warranties not honored to customers without receipt. Many warranties lost in the system bringing customer service issues. Lots of backstabbing throughout entire organization.

      Decent place to work Good associates Fun customers Adequate pay

      Cons

      Upper management had a fixation on the "fix of the year." District Managers varied from uber-competent to not remotely competent Seemed to be no promotion from within past the general manager level Favoritism was a huge issue

      Pros

      Good benefits, career opportunities and career growth. Nice clean, modern stores. Excellent opportunity to interact with customers.

      Cons

      General Managers are more micromanaged now than in years past. General Managers now have a set schedule and must get DM approval for exceptions. Example if a General Manager wants to open on Friday instead of closing approval of the District Manager is required. That wasn't required in the past.
