2yThis perception of the organization is unfortunate and inaccurate. Correctional facilities should be staffed according to state licensing and accreditation boards. While we employ some of the brightest, most experienced, and most hardworking LPNs, the organization supports medical staff furthering their education in light of the 2015 Shadrick v. Hopkins County, Ky., 805 F.3d 724 lawsuit, changes to the 2018 Iowa Nursing Scope of Practice Iowa Administrative Code 655.6.3(11)d(1), and other recent news specific to providing care within the correctional environment.
