This company truly strives to provide the best healthcare to inmates. They challenge you everyday in your job to do better than you did yesterday.

Cons

This company is growing fast but upper management fails to expand staff. They expect the corporate office to function the way it did when there were fewer contracts.

I never found one during my sentence

Cons

Not interested in employees or inmates AT ALL - LPN's doing assessments (illegal in any other health care organization) and in management positions, overseeing the care of inmates. The staff where I worked were NOT qualified to make medical decisions - and calling a doctor on the phone with an assessment that your not even qualified to do is not what I would call quality.

Pros

Very accessible leadership while not micromanaging. The pay and benefits as good, and in most cases better than competitors. It is refreshing to be able to provide health care needs and not be at the mercy of "customer" if they do not get what they want.

Cons

None really of note at the moment. The hiring process is quite lengthy, but I feel this helps to eliminate non committed or non qualified candidates.
