Pros

Working there was super flexible, that’s basically all I can say that was good. They don’t take things seriously.

Cons

Bosses were not trained properly. If they liked you, you would have more privileges than others. Pay was horrible and they give raises to undeserving people at times.

Pros

The people I worked with on a daily basis were awesome. I think it takes dedicated people to stick around in that environment.

Cons

Mid- to upper management are clueless, unable to plan, unwilling to hear feedback, and create a super toxic environment. Also HR is there to support management, not anyone else.

Engineering Team is Poorly Managed

Pros

Interesting product - high power RF generators used in silicon manufacturing.

Cons

Engineering team is being poorly managed. Workload is huge, Engineering dept. understaffed, equipment needed to do your work is not available for weeks or months. Older, established Engineers unwilling to help newcomers for whatever reason (job security, office politics?). Management afraid to discipline them for fear they will leave. Management does not understand need to phase out problematic employees (or at least have backups for them so they can enforce rules on them).
