Pros

Work life balance, paid time off policy, fun team, management implemented many positive changes over the past year. Opportunity to cultivate and grow your book of business.

Employees are accountable, only a con if you don’t want to work hard.

Pros

The only pro is that they hire international students/ professionals to work. In fact international workers are the only reasons why they are in business. If you don't need a visa sponsorship there is nothing that Advantage can offer you. If you do and you get hired by them, well tough luck.

Cons

1. Zero representation at client's site. Technically they are supposed to be your rep for client, ask for raises, look after HR duties etc. In return they take a cut from your pay check . However, advantage is the worst agency i know among all the agencies. Once hired, you won't see their faces again. They leech on to your pay check for no service in return. 2. Predatory hiring practices. Their contract says you can't work for other agencies. After being fedup with them if you want to switch agencies they won't give you a release letter stating they allow a switch. In fact, they are so cheap that, one they won't pay for your work visa until it is the very last year of your stay in US but if some other agency is willing to do so, they will not allow you to switch. 3. Forget raises. The rate you get hired in is the rate you will exit out after a decade. 4. They hold up pay checks. Pretty sure they are breaking tons of laws in doing so. 5. Health insurance - Worst in industry and perhaps country. Avoid this place like a plague. Look for other agencies who will offer exact same jobs. There are genuinely good ones out there that look after your interests. Advantage is at the bottom of barrel.

Pros

My current best friends i met are from working at the company- of course none of them still work here :)

Cons

Shameful training No experience in management Shocking employee support system My first job in the city and after my former manager left i really was left in the dark. I was not put in the right direction, i was constantly devalued and made to feel that i was only there to do the basic minimum. There was no progression whatsoever - not that they cared if you progressed or not. Majority of the people i know have left in the last few months since i have left and i am not surprised by the way they treat staff. Would not go back to work here even if they paid me double.
