Negative Leadership Leading Company To Negative Feelings

Pros

They're always hiring and the HR lady is nice. Oh and you get chocolate for your birthday and a balloon.

Cons

- Negative reviews on Glassdoor are grounds for termination of employment. - Positive reviews on Glassdoor are instructed by management - Management approves of boating excursions while financial problems are evident. - There are no clear career paths within the company. - The owner is careless with his opinions on race/gender/political views, he doesn't take into consideration how his words may be met. - The compensation is not on par with industry standards. - They have records of what each person should be making versus what they actually pay. - You'll be hard pressed to find someone who stays longer than a year, with the exception of a few they've managed to convince to stay.

Pros

It's a job... you get a paycheck. They pay you on payday. Oh, and the owner occasionally provides food.

Cons

It's dirty, it's a mess in there. Very strange organization. "The org chart looks like it's from the ghetto" - Owner Don't make mistakes, don't have anything happen at home, don't have an independent thought. Don't think you're getting ahead. Don't fall for the salesmanship of the owner. And don't let them think you don't have any other options, it will be exploited.

Pros

The company works hard towards allowing employees to develop their full career potential. Wants to see you with them long term!! Flexible with school schedules or if you need time off. Employees are frequently surveyed in order to get constant employee input and feedback. Mixed ages of employees brings in diverse perspectives and new ideas. Progressive thinking by leadership. Fun monthly activities make a big difference and creates bonds with employees. The employees really are a team, always bringing in desserts and coffee in the break room provided by the company.

Cons

Lots of flies enter from nearby agriculture. Janitors do not always do the best of jobs keeping bathrooms clean. Prime parking gets taken quickly if you are not in office by 7am.
