Very impressive onbroarding education, however given minimal time to complete. Education, standard of care and ongoing clinical bedside learning is not practiced in the Unit. Nurses are not valued by physicians. (excludes Dr. Matesick and Dr. Llanes) Physicians often will not write orders, often yell at nurses for calling with patient conserns. Patients are looked at as objects, not people. Closed loop communication rarely occurs between nursing and MDs No follow up with origami reports.....general feeling of staff is that they dont make a difference. No root cause analysis for unsafe practices Supplies are not always available and if they are they are scattered. Hospital organizaion is poor. safety practices are poor.
