      Pros

      Being a smaller hospital, you get that family feel where you know everyone and have worked with almost everyone at one time or another. Your peers are regularly inspiring, hard working, and dedicated.

      Cons

      The only challenges in my opinion are that upper management seems to work more for the big guy than the little guy. We were constantly pushed to meet expectations that would please the budget and scores no matter what that took.

      Pros

      Caring colleagues, beautiful facility with private rooms . nurses really care about their patients & families as well as each other.

      Cons

      no retention bonus, too many scripted expectations. Provide the education for the HCAhPs score priorities, but let nurse's communicate in their own way without having to memorize scripts
