Pros

Work/Life balance is great! We get out at 3:30 on Fridays and work is so easy.

Cons

Its so boring and people seam so fake like if they are in a totally different bubble. An Adventist Bubble. Its who you know I guess. No real chance of growth and leadership plays favorites. Not using staff to their potential because the older execs are set in their ways and things move like molasses.

Pros

Entirely new administrative leadership team is in place now and leading the company in a good direction as far as CMS compliance, updating the equipment, supplies and technology, as well as improving organizational management and planning.

Cons

Organization has been through a 2-3 year period of instability with high staff turnover, poor staff morale and frequent CMS audits. Nursing units frequently understaffed with a high ratio of travelers and floats to regular staff. High value placed on "Sacred Work" initiatives to meet the wholistic needs of patient's and their families, but little actual effort to support staff in work-life balance.

Pros

Flexible working with students and people with other jobs, good benefits if you can get enough hours to attain them.

Cons

Cannot depend on getting the hours you need, better to expect getting paid less than you need. When other companies come in to do surveys on the hospital, everyone is extremely emotional and snappish. You can meet both amazing people and horrible people, in terms of employees. The patients are normally very sweet, thats the best part of the job. If you're looking to go up, this is the wrong job, most people who cant stand the job are there going up 10-15 years, unlikely you'll get the position.
