Pros

Health Insurance Employment Pay Check Some Decent Co-Workers Location

Cons

*** WARNING *** Adventist Health are collective or communal narcist. They use, exploit workers, pay very little. They will undermine, bash, and passive aggressively undermine individual achievements other than their mission . They are controlling, manipulative and believe what they are doing is the most important thing in the world. They use religion as a way of emotionally manipulating people especially women. They do not promote unless you are an active member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. They use work to try to convert you. They surround themselves with people for attention or to appear intelligent, and superior. They will assign more and more work to prevent you from leaving. Its a CULT. They are currently being sued.

Pros

It pays better than the local county hospital.

Cons

Let's roll with some stories: 1. Utilities and basic management: The place couldn't keep the lights and water regularly on. Have fun working in the dark! 2. Useless management: I could go on a rant for days about how many people they killed during Covid, but I'll just leave it at this li'l gem. When the 'Nasties' (the National Guard) got called out to help with the Covid-19 pandemic, hospital management couldn't even give them temporary ID badges. Poor guys couldn't even get in the front door, lol - no maps, no EHR access, literally not even a basic briefing. Absolutely pathetic, and the Guardsmen got recalled quickly since they weren't allowed to actually do anything. 3. Stingy: Hey, remember Covid? Remember how much everyone front-line had to bust their rears to help during that mess? Now imagine getting written up because you swiped 'did not receive all 10-minute breaks' ONCE. (plot twist: it was actually literally every shift I worked there) Do yourself a favor and never, EVER work here.

Pros

I had great colleagues that worked well together in the ER. We do a lot of teamwork.

Cons

Management has got to be the worst. Armenian patient population is the worst. They have no boundaries nor respect for staff. Management does not back us up despite how burnt out we get. A lot of staff get write ups for very little things. Anything small we do or say will take us to HR, which HR staff is not supportive and biased. Also talent acquisition lie about incentive bonuses I never received by the supposed pay date. HR and Talent acquisition need to be investigated ASAP for their misconducts and mismanagement of staff and money. Also. Watch out for the supervisor, she is never in most staffs favor and play favorites. Not supportive at all for staff.
