Pros

- Some coworkers are very nice and friendly - Free coffee if you drink them - Nice new building (open office is a no-no though) - Inspiring worship talks

Cons

You can't pay me enough to even step foot in their door. I left my job of almost 9 years with promises of "better opportunity" and "we will equip you for success" only to realize that they were all lies. My manager who was also new was always out to get me in trouble and wrote up lies about me on paper to HR department who forced me to sign the papers. I was given hardly any training, my trainer complained about my "asking too much questions" as she comes late everyday, then goes and have breakfasts, and then talks to her friends for hours and yet I'm the bad person? Worst decision of my life moving to a company whose supposed mission was "Living God's Love" because there is zero of Christianity and values in this company. Never again....

Pros

Didn't experience too many pros working there, benefits were decent if you went only within the Adventist Health network, good 401k match. If you work up in Corporate in Roseville, then your work environment is gorgeous and you seemed to get more of the company culture and perks.

Cons

Personally, I absolutely did not experience any of the "mission-driven compassion" they're really striving for. Maybe I fell beneath the cracks during the whole business transformation, because other people seemed to be happy-ish working there, but the whole "we're going through a business transformation" excuse really seemed like a bunch of BS to not really care about their employees. My directors absolutely did not care about me as a person, and my mental and physical health deteriorated tremendously while I worked there. No formal training and completely disorganized onboarding. Pay scale is low for recruiters in comparison to other hospitals.
