Pros

There was a great boss that I reported to that made the transition to this job very easy.

Cons

Location. The hospital is located in a very rural area of the state. I prefer to be in a metro area.

Mission Driven, but money focused.

Pros

I agree with the Mission that drives Adventist Health. Compensation is fairly consistent with market-rates and depending on your department time off can be fairly flexible.

Cons

Training can be lacking, overuse of meetings that don't accomplish much, money focused leads to short sighted policies that hurt employees.
