Pros

There are a lot of good and passionate people working for Adventist Health. The faith based culture is prominent and meaningful to many. Nice working environment overall

Cons

Senior leadership is very poor, and primarily reserved for members of the 7th Day Adventist Church, so advancement opportunities if you are not Adventist are virtually impossible. Many of the Senior Leaders are children of other Senior Leaders from sister hospitals and are not qualified.

Massive Leadership Challenges

Pros

Not many positive. Sr. Leadership allows Managers to walk all over Directors. They have gone through 5 Directors in as many hears. Hospital CEO uses rounding as an excuse to micromanage front line cutting Directors out of there leadership prerogatives and responsibilities. Until this changes there is not much hope. here

Cons

Many significant management problems mainly with Sr. Leadership in this area
