      Pros

      I started as a Recruiter and quickly achieved a promotion and 2 raises. I am now an Account Manager and in less than a year over doubled my starting salary. I didn't even have any recruiters under me to make this happen- you can make this happen on your own without building a huge regime under you. This company offers extensive opportunities for QUICK growth and very generous raises. It's all about how hard you work. Therapy Staff only expects 8 hour days, they are flexible with taking time off for vacations, appointments, working from home when sick, etc. This company definitely has a great work/life balance and does not burn you out. Their management is extremely effective, always being understanding and standing up for their employees while also leading by example. The managers want their recruiters to be successful and grow, but also know the line between micromanaging and managing effectively while trusting their recruiter's judgement. Very team oriented- like a big family. Team socials happen at least once a month, along with happy hours/dinners after work. Therapy Staff is a very ethically run business, encourages feedback/opinions from all employees, and was ranked top 10 best places to work in Austin by the Austin Business Journal. Also, we were ranked as one of the top 10 staffing agencies in Austin. Any company given these awards are known for having supreme staff, a great work environment, and ethical business practices.

      Friendly coworkers, for the most part. Good location. Easy to stay excited about the days if you are motivated by pressure

      The job is not what is presented in interview process. Claim to have competitive pay, but go to literally any other competitor and you will make 15k more a year at any other position/level. You can even look it up on here. Commission is only good if you have been there multiple years with tons of ppl working for you, and even then you better hope you have an "in" with uppers. Always having to lie to cover yourself in shady situations. Archaeic and ineffective training system. Not great communication between branches. Hovering and micromanaging leadership that cares, but dont understand the micromanaging makes work morale worse. No companywide bonding events or outings, everyone is too overworked/drained/stressed/sick of being near each other for 9+ hours a day (yes 9). They claim to not be a company that "counts calls" but they do. Job description says you will do social media/in person recruiting; you wont. Be prepared to make 130+ cold calls a day or otherwise be questioned as to why you don't have "new ppl". You will be watched like a hawk.You will also be compared to the other offices who have different struggles that you do, so figure it out on your own
