Good collaboration and communication between the various teams. The people are supportive and work well together to achieve their respective goals. Affinitiv continuously strives to improve processes and employee culture, and makes a conscientious effort to promote from within whenever possible.

A tremendous amount of potential - and it gives me hope

Pros

After a period of intense management and organizational flux and frustrations, it's beginning to look like a strong engineering- focused organization may be emerging. Several large, complex systems are being re-architected and merged into a new strong platform, and it's tough but can be very rewarding work. The engineers are extremely skilled, and the product owners are intensely knowledgeable about the automotive industry and how what you're building is used.

Cons

As a company that's coming together from several mergers, with a new leadership team, which has also had a tremendous amount of flux, there have been hiccups, missteps, frustrations, re-organizations and alignments. The pandemic sorta threw a curve ball too, with furloughs, salary adjustments and the loss of the 401k match. Much of that has been resolved, however some benefits still haven't returned yet.
