Pros

Everyone is incredibly friendly. Office culture is a mix of established business meets start up - I really like that I get the benefits of working in a start up environment without worrying that our company will go belly up! They pay for your gym membership in our building. There is opportunity to grow and they promote from within, as many of the employees have worked for the company for a number of years and in a number of departments/positions. Everyone, from our office manager to our CEO are approachable and friendly.

Cons

As a growing company acquiring other marketing firms around the country, there are some growing pains. This seems to be improving though as the company establishes the appropriate infrastructure.

Pros

I have found the leaders and employees at Affinitiv to be willing and thoughtful about what needs to be done in order to continue to grow and become the leader both in software and service marketing. Typical growing pains of a post acquisition environment that leaders are committed to overcoming mostly around process, which is being dealt with now. Leaders doors are always open it seems, which I appreciate. Incredibly smart people all the way around that are humble and teachable and listen to others ideas. Excellent benefits and vacation policy. Flexibility as needed around schedules. Town hall meetings and weekly department meetings serve as a great backdrop for ideas and communication. If you are coming with a problem, give a solution recommendation and it will be considered at the very least. In a word, I feel empowered. Leaders and contributors have a deep understanding of the car business and its very exciting to be a part of! They have a great grasp on the future including dealerships and OEM needs. The software leg of the business is getting a face lift and i love the ideas and accountability coming out of that team. They are excited! When powerful people are empowered by executives and get organized, the sky is the limit. We have the support of the leadership team! They do one-on-ones and what is very rare is a President and CEO conducting skip levels. We appreciate that! They WANT to know what is going on.

Cons

Big opportunity in organizing software and service marketing so the processes are consistent. I choose to focus on the momentum and how I can help. Work should be fun and the days we don't have fun is why we get paid. Most days are really fun, some days aren't - but that is why we get paid. Glass half full, lets go!

Pros

There is a lot of potential here if you are patient and willing to work hard. The view moving forward could be very bright if they can make the vision happen .

Cons

There is a lack of clear, consistent communication. Priorities seem to shift around . The focus is all about the shiny new office and new people. There are some really great, very smart people in the other offices and in the field too. Remember they are on the calls and not part of the office parties.
