Pros

The benefits that come along with working at Affirm are unlike any other organization I have ever been a part of. People truly do come first financially, culturally, and ethically. There is constant innovation and room for growth. Every process, tool, and initiative can be challenged in a productive way. Every person that works at Affirm can and does feel free to express their thoughts and push a new process forward. There are always new challenges and problems that are exciting to solve. Transparency around what is happening and what is to come is a daily reward. Our senior leadership team is extremely honest about everything they can be. Many people have been very successful at Affirm without any financial background because the opportunity to learn is always there. The training and leadership team is very willing to spend time with individuals to ensure a full understanding of every concept.

Cons

The workload can be very heavy which can make it difficult to find a work life balance. Experience is often valued over the proven ability to do the work and people are put in positions they do not perform well in, simply based on the previous roles.

Pros

- The fast paced growth is super fun, it brings new things to learn and do everyday - Lots of autonomy and ownership- if you want to do something new or pursue a space, not only is there lots of room to do so but people are super supportive - Values- I really feel the execs care about their employees, are super transparency about goals and strategies, and really put us first when transitioning to remote work

Cons

- Things can change quickly and you need to adapt, but that's why I was excited to join so not really a con for me :)
