Pros

Always a fun time when you're working with kids Flexible schedule, great for students Feel like you're making a difference in mentoring the kids Coworkers are usually around the same age, so great work environment

Cons

Parents can make work very difficult If you are stuck with the wrong Program Specialist or Site Mentor, work will not be enjoyable Promotion and hiring practices are only based on who you know, and who likes you Leadership past PL position is poor, they do as they please.

Pros

The interaction with our kids was an amazing experience. The staff on the ground was worth the heartache of working for this corporation

Cons

There were issues, but many were based on interpersonal conflict that people involved were never given a chance to iron out.
