Established Company with "Start Up" Mentality

Pros

I work in Agero's corporate office in Medford, MA. In addition to the corporate office, there are multiple contact centers across the U.S. and Canada. Agero has been around for almost 50 years and is $1 billion in revenue. Because of this, it is established, has great resources, and is an industry leader. While some established companies become complacent, from what I've seen Agero's leaders and employees keep a "start up" mentality.. meaning they are constantly trying to improve and be innovative. I also really enjoy everyone I work with in the corporate office! People are willing to lend a hand and get you through your first few months while you adjust and learn the ropes. It's a great team to be a part of!

Cons

The company is going through an exciting digital transformation. Naturally that comes with some speed bumps while we look to make improvements across all departments to improve processes.

Thank you for the feedback. Couldn't agree with you more - Onboarding is a critical point of focus for managers and an activity that extend several months into a recent hires tenure. although we still have much work to do, we are focused on making sure HR orientation focuses on the information new hires really need, that managers have a first two week plan focused on raising awareness around the work, introductions to key partners and most importantly, time and support for all of the new hires questions. The "buddy" approach is receiving GREAT feedback - working to make this a standard experience for all new hires. I would encourage you to speak with your HR partners and further reinforce to them, the benefit you have seen in this approach. thank you for your support!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have a standard training curriculum, however, each Trainer may personalize it in some way with different examples from their past experience. We strive to have consistency as much as possible across each class.
