      Pros

      The work is very fulfilling - meeting the mission requirements and seeing the tangible impact of what we do is great. Management is pretty hands-off as long as things are going well.

      Cons

      This company is owned by Enlightenment Capital, a VC firm, and they care more about profit margins than hiring/retaining the best employees. Overall company culture is fine, but there's a merger/acquisition announced every year, which seems to continually be justification to not provide meaningful raises to keep expenses lower to potential buyers.

      -decent pay and PTO -nothing else

      Cons

      Frequent reorganizations and layoffs have made employees scared to be the next person cut. Rather than addressing the prevalent issues (culture, communication, collaboration) leadership chooses to move the goal post, leading to further division and disharmony.
