Favoritism, Nepotism. No growth opportunity organically.

Pros

ERG groups Half Day Fridays in the Summer Remote Personal Development Fund

Cons

There seems to be a pattern of potentially biased hiring and promotion practices within the company: 1) Concerns about internal promotions: There's a perception that internal promotions favor those with close relationships to hiring managers, rather than being based solely on merit and qualifications. 2) Nepotism concerns: There are instances where promotions appear to be granted to friends or relatives of existing employees, raising concerns about fairness and equal opportunity. 3) Lack of leadership diversity: The CRO has appointed a significant number of individuals from their previous network to key leadership positions. This could limit diverse perspectives and potentially lead to "groupthink." 4) These practices may create an environment where not all employees feel they have equal opportunities to advance based on their performance and skills.

Pros

Strong company vision, product, revenue, and outlook - Agiloft is doing very well for a company of its size (50-100 employees) and age (20+ years). The hybrid SaaS/on-premise licensing model offers a solid revenue stream with a pipeline for growth. Thursdays' wine and cheese breaks aren't bad either! Great place to work - The perks of working here are not excessively attractive, but they are more than adequate and certainly fair. Compensation and benefits are competitive and management is very receptive to new ideas and increasing employee retention. It's in a beautiful location, and the people that work here are exceptionally talented as well as friendly. The environment is very collaborative while maintaining a high level of professionalism. It is small enough where every employee's contribution has an impact on the company's success, yet there are opportunities for growth.

Cons

Traffic can be bad for a commute, and there is no reliable public transportation to get to the office.

Used to be great, but getting worse

Pros

Still a solid base of excellent people (in certain departments) who care about their work.

Cons

Below average pay and zero career advancement. Favoritism is rampant, especially if you are ex-Thomson Reuters. Lack of enthusiasm and engagement among employees.
