Their software is okay to configure for the end user. Some of the benefits start off from day 1 with the company which is nice.

Cons

Employees make anti-semitic jokes and managers laugh. Managment is unprofessional and employees are a breeding ground for a sexual harrassment law suit waiting to happen. I heard several male employees refer to candidates as a "hot piece of ass" (male and female). Hiring managers often lie and miss inform employees about the job. Upper management is cold to lower level employees. Management gives out employee phone numbers to tele-marketing companies once you leave

Pros

Awesome people in the Santa Barbara location. Very laid back. No micromanagers but great organization and direction from the Director, Mike Smith.

Cons

Agilysys does not give decent raises. Some managers can not control their tempers and are not open to any new ideas.

Pros

Outstanding individual contributors, some great opportunities for development and growth, good management on the technical side.

Cons

Acquisition strategy was puzzling, and execution on acquisitions, particularly integration of disparate parts, was a problem. Agilysys tended to spend a lot of time, money and energy getting a new "piece of the puzzle", with no clear plan as to how to assemble the pieces. Since the acquisition by OnX, my understanding is, the new leadership has done a much better of integration.
