They are an unethical company that supports the behavior.

Everything about the company aside from the fact that it's the largest in the US, the level of arrogance that runs down from the top that cascades into a waterfall effect is next level. There is also an incredibly nasty culture of throwing people under the bus- I personally never had to deal with it, but got to sit front row and center to watching higher ups do it to one another.
