Pros

Beautiful place to work, exciting travel industry, great GM

Cons

2 toxic managers who will probably never quit and with whom front desk agents are required to interact with pretty much daily. Then there is the overabundance of toxic entitled guests as well, some of which are so rude as to get into verbal abuse territory.

Pros

1. You always know where you stand. Each week I led my local management team (and sometimes corporate) on review wins/losses/opportunities and standings compared to forecast. 2. Great corporate support! As long as you provide accurate and honest information, they won't hamper your ability to win the business, and will offer some great guidance. 3. Salary was the best I had in almost 20 years of working in the hotel industry. 4. Provided a great severance package when I had to leave during Covid-19. 5. Discounts with Aimbridge Hotels when I traveled, that included staying in Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, among others, in one of the largest network of hotels in the US. I already got discounts working with the IHG brand at Staybridge Extended Stay Hotel. 6. They work with you when you have family issues..."family comes first" I heard them say when my back was against the wall in having to leave the property to take care of a family matter. 7. They offered cross-selling bonuses to refer groups within their network.

Cons

The only one I had was that if you get a great Regional Sales Director, you can really perform without efforts being side-tracked on other prospects that didn't have any potential. That is true with any hotel. In my time there, I had three RDOS's, and the first two were excellent. The last one was experienced in full-service, but didn't understand ESOC.
