Pros

I'm happy with the good salary and benefits, excellent flexibility (work/life balance), admirable leadership and solid values; glad to support front line crews who are out saving lives daily. My direct supervisor is a pleasure to work with.

Cons

The corporate office is a little tight and loud and no "perks" like you find at some other businesses.

Pros

One of the greatest benefits of working for a large organization is the many opportunities to grow professionally. Air Methods has always been flush with opportunities since I've been part of the organization.

Cons

There is often a communication disconnect from Corporate to the "Field".

Pros

Exact working hours can be a bit flexible. Company is huge, and probably not going to shut-down anytime soon.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance. On-call 24/7-365. Very hard to get time-off without being looked-down on. You can work your tail off for years, and never get a chance for promotion. Benefits are pricey, and only mediocre in quality. Pay is industry average, at best. Definitely a good-ol-boy club mentality in many parts of the company.
