Pros

Airbnb is an excellent place for designers looking to be challenged and grow their skill sets. The design team is composed of some of the best in the industry, which pushes you to elevate your work and think critically about your craft. Unlike many tech companies today, Airbnb supports remote work, offering flexibility and a strong work-life balance. The company also provides excellent benefits and perks encouraging employees to enjoy their lives outside of work.

Cons

Career growth within Airbnb can be highly challenging. Promotions are difficult to achieve, as employees are often expected to perform above their level for extended periods before being considered. This can be particularly frustrating when priorities shift or when contributions are not tied to high-visibility projects. Additionally, while being surrounded by top-tier designers is inspiring, it can also lead to an environment where egos and favoritism impact collaboration and decision-making. This dynamic can make it difficult for those outside of senior roles to drive meaningful change.

Pros

Good Work Life Balance, fully remote and a lot perks

Cons

Lost growth and direction, hired a lot mid management trying to reshape the company, which made the culture much worse, and the management only sucks up to the leadership and have done little to the actual employee.
