Pros

Great people, opportunities, growth and freedom.

Cons

Still a start-up feel so there's little structure put in place (which is awesome for builders like me!)

Pros

It's nice to have food and coffee everyday without having to think about it. It's also nice not to have to grocery shop anymore living in SF. I'm a big fan of dogs in the office (since I like most of them more than the humans)

Cons

Management is a uneducated group of thugs who don't have any real-world people management experience. Airbnb needs to invest in a management team (from the top down) that understands people management and employee retention- not just those who repeat what HR says to them with deaf ears. HR - This is a group you go to when you have an issue and need help deciding on the best options available for you. I hardly talk to HR as I've heard nothing but horror stories of the team overall. Ive had colleagues talk to HR and mysteriously "quit" very soon after. It's honestly a bit crazy. Airbnb likes to promote from within. This means they promote individuals who lack essential skills to grow and scale teams and processes.

Pros

Interview was really informal, you will feel at ease. Good training provided at beginning, people are always friendly and helpful. As long as I know, you can forward your career in a couple of years, and it actually is a great place to work if you are in the Customer Experience office. Nothing to share with other call centers, here there is a great effort to let people feel at ease. There are benefits as food and drinks and they are located in the City Center in Dublin (I obviously am talking of their Irish offices ;)) Great exchange of cultures and met a lot of new friends.

Cons

Well, the business is growing a lot, so if you are associate to a Customer related job, you'll have to work shifts (they do not include late night, though!).
