Pros

Profit Share, Nice Building, Free Coffee

Cons

Management is not completely honest when hiring or when parting ways. They promote a normal workweek, good work life balance atmosphere with advancement opportunities galore. HOWEVER- you are expected to use your personal cell phone, take problem calls 24/7/365 and if you are over 30 (which I am not) forget about a promotion. Its not going to happen. When you take time off ( vacation, sick, personal) be ready to come back and play catch up for the next month! The workload is ridiculous and the person covering you only "puts out fires" while you are gone. Get EVERTHING IN WRITTING ! When I left they agreed in writing to provide unemployment - uncontested, but tried to fight it anyway. THEY LOST! Unless you have been with the company since the early days - you wont be around long.

Pros

Honestly, I cannot think of a single pro.

Cons

Training is garbage and you all need to do much, much better. When we were flown out for “XFactor” it was so disorganized and an absolute joke. The software they use is also useless and outdated, and the IT team have so much going on that you feel like a bother. The worst part of it all is the lack of privacy. My managers called the leasing office at the apartment building THAT I LIVE IN to find out what was going on, because I was away on teams. What an absolute invasion of privacy. I still cannot believe that this happened. You couldn’t be away from teams without getting a call from HR, your manager, and coworkers. It was completely obnoxious, I’ve never been so micromanaged in my life.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback on your time with Aires. We take all feedback from our employees, former or current, very seriously. We are truly saddened to hear that you had such a negative experience. Aires always strives to create an environment in which our employees can grow and achieve their full potential. I am not sure how long it has been since your exit from the company, but it may help to hear that in the past year alone Aires has made significant changes in our training processes as well as expanded our training team to better serve our people and set them up for success. xFactor is intended to be an opportunity for our new hires to connect with others and see how vital each role is in the continued success of our business. In addition to the changes made to our other training processes our team is always open to feedback on how we can improve and better serve the attendees. Concerning the statement about your privacy, this situation you detailed is certainly not something that is standard practice. While it may be necessary for managers to check in on employees from time to time there is not normally a scenario in which a manager is contacting an individual’s landlord or rental office unless there is a concern for an employee’s health and well-being. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to connect offline to discuss your experience in further detail. Please feel free to contact us through our primary email hr@aires.com or confidentially through PeopleXConfidential@aires.com. We hope to speak with you soon!

Pros

Initial pay offers are very competitive with bigger companies but don't expect anywhere to move up in this company, as the management holds a tight control on recognition of those who excel. Seems like the company is in the green, due to their aristocratic approach to contracting other companies and forcing a highly competitive market to get work through them. Meanwhile absolving blame for bad customer experiences to these said companies they contract and the fact their money comes from the HR companies they work with and not the people they help relocate.

Cons

Seems like a great company unless you are working in IT. Authority reigns supreme and mutual respect is nowhere to be found. Management is too busy protecting their own jobs and hiding their complete lack of intelligence and integrity to their superiors. They desire high level decision making and intricate technical professionalism from their workers but give no recognition or even understanding of what you offer. Hiring strategy is horrible because the people hiring have no idea what knowledge is required to perform their jobs. If you can talk up how much you love football and have a desire to find other men who degrade women in the workplace, then this place is perfect for you! Otherwise be prepared to be reminded to grovel at the feet of your superiors while you do all the work and get no respect in return.
