Pros

401K, hourly with paid weekly, paid for lunch, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and one hour for lunch.

Cons

This company does not pay very well. I've been working here for over a decade with exemplary yearly reviews (5 of 5 stars in all categories) and with a yearly cost of living raise I still make under $40,000. There is also no room for growth to management.

Pros

The company gives you alot of training before they put you on the floor.

Cons

I was going to just focus on my new career and leave this nightmare in the past but it would be wrong not to warn people. Dont work at this place. I quit because my manger was overbearing and the definition of a micromanager. She was a nice lady but the pressure from her boss caused her to be umbearable and I believe that is the real problem. He is verablly abusive and uses intimidation to manage and on top of that sexist and does not like black people. The proof is in the pudding. All of his 10 plus managers are female in a building with an almost even number of males and females because he is able to verbally abuse and dominate them. Out of those 10 plus female managers only 2 are black in a building where most of the workers are black. Someone from upper management or Air Liquide should put a microscope on him because I dont know how he has gotten away with these illegal practices for so long. Im sure a lawsuit is in his near future.

Pros

Good pay but you'll work 12-14 hour days to get it. Vacation pay even though the vacation rate was cut.

Cons

I became an Airgas employee when Air Liquide merged with Airgas. Since the merger, Airgas has made this an undesirable place to work. They cut the 401k down to a 2% match, some former Air Liquide employees were making up to 9% match depending on longevity. That's roughly a $3000 cut in pay. They also cut health benefits, AL used to contribute $1000 annually to an individual, $2500 to a family's HSA, Airgas contributes nothing. Their health insurance is also more expensive. Morale is at a all time low. When Airgas took over the workload went up. If you're a driver you will have no life outside of work here. You'll work nights and weekends for years and 12-14 hour days almost everyday. If you're a driver get used to cameras in the truck. The company is picky with logs and will give you time off without pay if you don't conform. The trucks are nice looking but improperly geared for mountainous terrain. Mostly auto transmissions as they are dumbing everything down since dummies are about the only ones that are looking to work here anymore. Most people I know that are still here are looking for a way out. BTW, I'm really suspicious of the 5 star ratings of this company on Glassdoor. I suspect they come from upper management, trying to get their ratings up.
