A toxic environment, do not expect to grow and be happy
Pros
RPA and service desk automation is a booming market and Aisera remains competitive in the market.
Cons
The culture of the company is a textbook case study for what to avoid. The negativity, toxicity, and tension is coming straight from the CEO and percolates all the way down. The inability of the CEO to plan long term, give clear instructions and align the company along with the rudeness and management style that does not respect the personality of the employees lead to an unimaginable churn rate that I have never seen in my life. As such the product is fragile, stagnant, and cannot move forward. People are running around day and night to patch and keep alive a product with no future without a plan for how to make it viable. The company is a mess so there is no way to learn anything new and advance your career here. Expect to spend most of your time in unnecessary war rooms, meetings without structure, and unreasonable deadlines for tasks without requirements. Most of the people quit in less than a year and they get bullying by the CEO who calls them and uses offensive language that I cannot mention here. You can verify the churn rate by looking at how many people have worked at Aisera and left by just doing a simple search on LinkedIn. Why are most of the reviews at glass door positive? Most of them are fake or the manager was sitting next to the employee when it was written Why so many people have joined Aisera? Two reasons, because of the churn Aisera gives good salaries especially to senior people overseas engineers who don't have many options. Also, they lie through their teeth to the candidates and present a completely fake ideal picture. Why did I stay for 2 years? The stock was growing very fast and I told myself to swallow the pill and wait until I am vested, until I started having doubts about the long-term viability of the product and the risk of imploding became real. The company has a lot of commonalities with Theranos where people joined because of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out, the CEO is very talented at doing that just like Elizabeth Holmes) and stayed because of legal bullying, threats. Prepare to sign agreements that are more restrictive than usual
