Pros

It's a cool industry to work on ML You can change your contract to remote Looks like the sales are going well and company does more hirings

Cons

Directors pretend to be project managers and technical leads pretend to be product owners which results to no actual work from their side and constant conflicts of interest and scope Trying to find information feels like playing the game of hot potato because everyone redirects you to someone else Communication alone can be a very good reason to leave since there is no transparency of projects and work being done which results to reinventing the wheel and redo things which have been done It s a very sad and toxic work environment

Pros

Chatbots are an interesting and cool topic Company has many sales successes You are able to have a remote-work contract

Cons

Leadership only demands like army generals without accepting any discussions There is no real management which causes problem since busy leadership people don't have the time and skills to lead a project Tech projects have leaders who micromanage every single move making people working 24/7 without them being involved more than arranging the standups

Pros

it's a nice industry with people who come with different backgrounds and bring different skills on the table there are more and more susccess stories

Cons

Even though many many startups in the Valley they have adopted the unlimited days off policy, in here we pretend that there nothing else but work There is no hierarchy or anything since managers and directors are bypassed constantly making teams very difficult to function properly and on schedule Benefits given are minimal
