Pros

The senior management at Aisera truly encourage and support you to create the centre of excellence for your domain expertise that you bring to the organization. You get to experience a very flat org structure, where you can have a candid conversation with the C-Suite as well as your peers to share ideas, thoughts and express concerns for constructive improvements. You get to own your domain, and are looked upon as the SME to help educate and evangelize your domain knowledge and expertise with the various teams. You get to cross collaborate, lead and be part of interesting projects, learn from some of the smartest and passionate individuals in the AI Service Experience and SaaS domain.

Cons

With the opportunity to be at a Series D start-up that's got big ambitions comes some sacrifices/adjustments one needs to make. There could be a few long hours during the week, the odd weekend syncs - but when you are bought into the vision and mission of Aisera, you know you are creating a better tomorrow! Its still early days, and so far only the above aspect (work/life balance) is something I would like to add to the culture as an Aiserian!

Pros

there are no pros for this company

Cons

Leadership are unsympathetic and closed minded. Startups you will work a lot which is granted but this is beyond that. They work you long hours 6 or 7 days a week, promote a culture of giving updates late at night to show you are working, no acknowledgment, or giving time to uncompress. 15 days of PTO combined with medical leave is lowest in industry and they ask you to justify taking time off even when you earned it. Leadership frequently calls out engineers in public forums for being slow and blame them for schedule slips. stuck in the past using email chains for everything. no process, little documentation that is kept up to date other than very high level. They still will call you on your time off and expect you to work. monolithic antiquated programming practices rule here. No CI/CD. only giant complex releases that are delayed weeks or months. They want locals and remote folks to come to the office every week even though its largely empty and unnecessary. This company is the same people in 4th iteration. they just can't grow this way. Any new engineers they hire quickly leave once they find out what its really like there. Warning they straight out lie in interview process offering all sort of benefits that don't exist. This is pandemonium.

Pros

the product is catchy and they promote it a lot even internally to develop more the hype if you're lucky you may find some flexibility on what to work, however, you may still do trivial unrelated work with your field eg data curation

Cons

Projects are managed poorly by following the famous project management style called "chaos" Most of the C-level board and the leaders it's like they work for a big consulting company, saying many buzwords, requesting absurd things Their social skills are dreadful and clearly most of them cannot manage technical people and technical projects which has led to the big mess you can find every month before every release There is not a single meeting where everyone will be on their time and when there is a meeting with higher rank employee you know you'll be waiting even 20 minutes if it's the CEO maybe even 1h...
