Pros

Alarm.com CORE is a fantastic place for people wanting to start in the IT field and for people who are wanting grow in their careers. - the training is excellent - the management is attentive and approachable - the office is fun and laid-back - the technology we work with is really cool - the benefits package is awesome - the focus is on BOTH customer satisfaction and employee happiness - the leadership encourages and assists employees in exploring ways to build their own career within the company - people are genuinely happy here

Cons

There aren't many cons to working here, honestly. - if you're an introvert you might find it difficult to handle all of the social interaction and events that are regularly featured for the staff - things change pretty often and it requires you to be flexible and ready to switch gears pretty quickly

Pros

You can easily make friends here. Proximity to metro stop is good.

Cons

Not a good place if you want to grow. Interviews, technical interviews, challenges, taking you through the office, showing you the nice ping pong room, lounges, etc. Those things may seem nice, however, that is the end of it. Don't ever stop learning, motivate yourself, continue to better yourself outside of work while you are here. Since the workload is generally standard 40 hours, it is very nice to use flexible time you have got to strive for the better. The structure of a department where one senior leader has all the power with compensation, promotion, and manpower is ridiculously masked over with nice talk to your face. Or here you go, great job, go get yourself a free meal from Panera Bread! Or wait, we would love you to get a nice parking spot for one month!

Pros

Alarm.com is fast-paced and customer-centric. I felt my on-boarding was really strong and my team lead cares about me as a person. The leadership team is always available and listens to our feedback. I come from retail and I like that here I have good benefits, paid vacation time and training and development opportunities.

Cons

Just your standard growing pains.
