Pros

The airline is going through some growing pains right now like every other airline. However it’s a great company to work for in comparison to others. The contract could use some work but that’ll be a forever thing. the workgroup is beyond amazing and truly the only reason I’m still here. Pure genuine people, pure customer service.

Cons

Management doesn’t seem to care too much about their frontline workers

Pros

free flights that’s it and even that isn’t a big deal.

Cons

Low pay Slave work Company doesn’t look at you as a human and expects you to endure mental exhaustion with little pto and you have to bid for time off. Any days missed count as an occurance regardless the circumstances. The culture there is so boring compared to my new job. Little to no incentive for hard work and management plays favoritism with agents. No real career advancement opportunities. Pretty much treated like a robot. Health benefits were not that great either very expensive and strict about what it covers.

Pros

Free travel on Alaska and Horizon Fun volunteering opportunities with the Rose Festival and Portland Timbers Great coworkers

Cons

Absolutely not prepared for any sort of adverse event - snow, COVID, understaffing Had to bump up their minimum starting wage in order to hire quality people - $15.88 is weirdly not enough to get yelled at constantly Management is over loaded meaning people fall through the cracks - terrible people stay on, good people leave
