Pros

Started at reservations 30+ years ago, now I'm working at airport. First of all, I truly could not have asked for a more caring crew and company. When my families home burnt down, my Alaska Airlines family got together with donations of money, food, clothing, and Christmas presents for my 3 boys. I don't think I'll ever leave. A lot of work from home opportunities available. Opportunity to travel

Cons

Can't be a smoker Some may see this as a con, I do not, but some may. It will take a long long time before you have seniority if you're in the Phoenix area.

Pros

Flight benefits, friendly co workers and supervisors. Work from home after 6 months. You can work from home sooner if you do more overtime.

Cons

Pay is very low. Location is in the middle of Kent so you have to deal with traffic during commute hours. Manditory overtime you have to bid on (yes they make you bid on overtime you have to work). This happens every 2 days. If your sick then dont be, this counts as a occurance(3 occurances and they can terminate you). No flex time if your late.

Pros

Great hometown company and Great CEO.

Cons

Education means very little, tenure means more. I left because I didn't want to wait another 20 years to get the position I deserved. Within six months of leaving, I was at a title and salary fitting my education and experience.
