Pros

The benefits are nice, and the leave accrual is some of the best in the state.

Cons

Current IT Leadership is in a reactive state at all times, instead of focusing on decommissioning software and servers that are way outside of Life Cycle Management. we are asked to cobble together workarounds and develop workflows that accommodate systems that haven't been updated since XP. Managers between the subdepartments don't work well with each other and clash on priorities. This place has a lot of management and the work falls hard on a small group of workers. Trying to bring an innovative idea or deploying a piece of software to solve an issue in my experience has died on the vine before it even gets to senior leadership. the common excuse is that " we don't have the budget for that. " but on the other hand they will pull together 15+ employees to figure out why their GroupPolicy/Imaging Solution is broken.

Pros

We had a great team that worked well together. The benefits and pay were good.

Cons

The manager was horrendous. She was a bully that just threatened us if we didn’t do what she said or if we dared to talk to anyone. She had no management skills. No organizational skills. Very confusing to work for her. She had no problem throwing her team under the bus.

I received almost 0 training for the job, the person training me was also a new hire

Pros

It is a paycheck. My whole experience at ANTHC has been bad.

Cons

The person training me was also a new hire, I was the first person they'd ever trained. Some of my training was skipped over, other things I'd been told to do incorrectly. When I asked questions, i got eye rolls, deep sighs, and answers that didnt help.
