There are too many con to list but to highlight just a few one would be that everything is an emergency.........an emergency du jour. You can be working on a project with an impossible timeline and suddenly be told to drop everything and work on this project because it is an emergency. Later on you will be told to drop that because there is another emergency. When you ask what about the current emergency you are working on you are told it is not a top priority emergency and the new one is. It goes on and on. You are considered an expert on the emergency/project even though you have never worked on it before. Every day is mass confusion. There always has to be a scapegoat for everything that goes wrong which, by the way, is almost daily. You can expect to be thrown under the bus then have the bus back up over you so management can save face. Management will never allow themselves to be held accountable. There is virtually no training. It is not a problem to ask for it but you will never receive it. There is a huge amount of turnover (the good people leave) so you are always working shorthanded making demands on you and coworkers unrealistic making any work-life balance impossible. I could list many more cons but the point has been made. Most of what goes on at Alcami just cannot be made up. If a <0 rating could be made I would rate it -5.

Promotions are given in favor. Management of manufacturing are not well educated about the pharmaceutical processes going on.
