Pros

The company leadership is ambitious and the company is growing, which makes it exciting to be part of the team. In my experience at SG, hard work is rewarded and A players are empowered. The office is located in a great place in Boulder that makes the commute easy. SurveyGizmo is a group full of welcoming people who care about each other, and the direction of the company.

Cons

Like any 10+ year old company, there are parts of the tech stack that are outdated. That said, the team is currently modernizing systems piece by piece, which means there are tons of opportunities for engineers to influence the new architecture.

Pros

The sales leadership was forced to resign due to a sexual harassment investigation. That’s a start.

Cons

Company leadership bragged about spending $100K to place the sales leadership. Which only lasted six months because of the aforementioned harassment.

Pros

Stocked Kitchen, Dogs are allowed, free parking on premises. Some really excellent and thoughtful coworkers

Cons

Opportunities to advance are not really advancement. This company is a start-up that's inexorably moving into a more corporate, toxic work culture. Trust the other negative reviews that have been thoughtfully provided, they're not embellishing anything. This company can do better and it's baffling why they haven't. All agency that the support team used to have was removed, leaving them with little to no recourse to help their customers when issues were unable to be resolved. One can only empathize and give their sorries so many times before the burnout is real.

In the past few months, we have promoted people in Customer Support, Sales, and Sales Engineering. These people are taking on new responsibilities, making more money and are excited about their roles. Our customer support team is kicking butt. They are getting to customer questions and calls faster and are receiving super-high customer support NPS scores. We are really proud of our Support Heroes!-SurveyGizmo
