Pros

The people at Alcoa truly care about one another. The company has a good value statement and the culture lives up to it. Work life balance programs, working from home 1 day a week is common. Opportunities to move around globally exists within the company. Great 401K program, $ for $ matching up to 6% plus a 3% kicker for non-pensioned employees.

Cons

Salaries are on the lower end of competitive and the vacation policy is outdated (ie. 15 years to get 4 weeks).

Pros

I have had my share of overtime in a previous job and there was not much overtime here. Mostly volunteer

Cons

Mass confusion there, they are trying to do timing on your work and rush you and meanwhile spouting off how much quality is the most important
