Pros

People they hire are talented people that are genuinely good. Easy for higher management to take advantage of and bully. You can learn quickly in the insanity initially if you can filter the good from the negatives.

Cons

Strong favouritism, inconsiderate higher management. It looks fun from the outside, passionate people doing important projects. It is a scam well planned, you get no appreciation for working on weekends and extra hours, no benefits, no overtime pay. In hard times, plan B is to cut cost at the expense of the employees and their mental health. The remaining employees gets squeezed and burnt to their limit juggling between projects. This is a hire fire bully company. Be careful with what they say to you, mostly fake, manipulation.

Dear Alephian, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our Glassdoor. We are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying your employment as much as we would like you to. Nonetheless, we do not wish to be misrepresented in the public space. There are a few things that we would like put forth. First and foremost, hard work will never go under appreciated in Aleph. Based on our leave policy, in-lieu leaves are given to employees upon verification with line managers should they work over the weekends for any client requirements. This is laid out on our handbook. Letting go of people is never easy for us as we value everyone who has been part of Aleph journey. That being said, all Alephians play a key role in shaping Aleph and are treated fairly, regardless of designation. We do not take mental health lightly for sure. Lastly, we are not a hire fire bully company. All alephians are hired based on their presentation of the skills and themselves during the interview and on their resume sent in. The performance will then be evaluated prior to the confirmation to ensure that we are fit for one another. If you felt that you have been unfairly, please reach out to us at hr@aleph-labs.com and the team will relook into this matter accordingly. Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon.

Pros

1. Offered a competitive salary. 2. Good Creative Team > successfully organize various events and possesses a good eye for designing office interiors.

Cons

1. Ineffective leadership and management practices. 2. It's a 'figure it out on your own' culture, and if you struggle, well, that's on you. 3. The lack of support or resources to educate clients is not just a flaw; zero empowering client through education. 4. Unclear decision-making processes. 5. Constant drama and tension. 6. A company that consistently demands more than is feasible without providing adequate support. 7. Divisive atmosphere, impacting teamwork and hindering the overall productivity of the software development team. 8. Lack of Conflict Resolution- felt being bullied. 9. Subjective employee evaluation, Neither data-driven nor focused on KPIs.

Dear Alephian, It's saddening to hear that you did not enjoy your working experience with us. However, we would like to clarify that what you have aforementioned is not fully representative of the work culture at Aleph. At Aleph, everybody is hired based on their skills and knowledge in the work we do. Practising equal employment opportunity is one of our key hiring policies. We do not regard gender, race or religion during the hiring process. Across the region, there are at least 29 nationalities within the organisation and we do not intend to stop at this number. Diversity is very much appreciated here. Every single Alephians are also specially chosen by our very own team to get onboard. These include our team leads, the happiness team and our very own senior management, regardless of the position of the hire.
