-Small community hospital. You can get to know everyone working on your unit. -Nice and friendly staff who are always willing to lend help

-Mediocre pay - Disorganized management and units

Pros

Helpful coworkers, friendly environment, they try to make sure there are enough CNAs staffed

Cons

Some staff are incompetent, charge nurse can be unhelpful at times (depends on which one), administration does not seem to care about employees (no hazard pay), supplies sometimes run out during the shift, computerized charting but still have paper charting to sign, high turnover rate for nurses, administration places doctors on a pedestal (whenever doctors do not adhere to certain policies admin places the responsibility on nurses to get it done)
