      No work-life balance

      Pros

      Pay is competitive, co-workers are great. They are interested in bringing in exciting new technologies. Hiring process is tough and brings in the best talent.

      Cons

      Zero work life balance. Expectations are to work excessive amounts of overtime. There is never time or budget for training. Everything is rushed with little pre-planning. Multi-year pre-planning is nonexistent. Large projects popup with little notice and unreasonable timelines. Project work is expected to be absorbed by the service teams. For a company that sells Human Resources outsourcing they don't offer a very robust benefit package.

      A Great Company Being Ripped Apart By Alight

      Prospects of working from home.

      Cons

      So disappointing to see a company that HAD a reputation of quality top notch customer service and training now only focusing on getting on and off calls with less than minimal training. Specific client training and responsibility to resolve caller's issues are almost non-existant. I have worked there 12 years for Hewitt then AON and now Alight. Alight has come in and in a short period of time turning the company into a sweat shop at all levels. Gone is the feeling of pride in my work and Company. The stress level and work load continues to climb. So many good people have left or been let go. More people out on medical leave.

      There are no pros of working for this company.

      Cons

      Failed to pay employees for all time worked. Supervisors directed us to not record time worked over 8 hours (which is illegal). Horrible HR - unable to get answers to basic HR questions. Difficult to get payroll errors fixed. Zero job security regardless of tenure and performance.
